This Blog is Authored by First Mothers and Adoptees to enlighten and teach and hopefully help others to see adoption in a realistic light. This is a new blog dedicated to the First Mothers and Adoptees of the past. We, as a group, are the silent members of the Adoption Triad. Our voices are not often heard and we have nothing to gain or lose in this process.

Musings of the Lame: Life as a Birthmother: Why Adoption Kool-Aid Tastes so Good!
When people tell me that adoption has changed since the BSE, I always have to wonder exactly how it has changed. After all, yes, we weren't shipped off to unwed mother's homes - but we were, in a lot of cases, taken out of our schools and put in the schools for unwed mothers - away from all the normal teenagers that don't get pregnant. But there is so much more to it. I was given this link and while it covers a lot, as always, there is so much more! Please read and enjoy the Musings of the Lame: Life as a Birthmother: Why Adoption Kool-Aid Tastes so Good!
